Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for our Sports Med and Rehab location in Winter Park, FL. The role involves determining diagnoses, creating care plans, and delivering PT services to orthopedic patients in a collaborative team environment.

The position offers a Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm and Friday 9am-6pm schedule, with location at 2005 Mizell Ave Winter Park, FL 32792. Sign-on up to $10,000 and relocation up to $3,000 are available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or PT-TEMP required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Determine physical therapy diagnosis and establish a plan of care.
• Design and implement treatment plans using approved techniques and guidelines.
• Assess patient ability to perform functional movements and evaluate musculoskeletal systems.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plan as needed.
• Document assessments and charges accurately per policy and insurance guidelines.
• Participate in marketing to physicians to foster referrals.
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Engage in community education and outreach to raise awareness of services.

Job Description:

• Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants

• Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus for Eligible Applicants

• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 10am -7p , Friday 9am -6pm

• The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.

• Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.

• Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.

• Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.

• Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.

• Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.

• Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.

• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.

• Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director

• Performs other duties as assigned.
