Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions, functional abilities, and establish personalized treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.
  • Provide hands‑on care utilizing specialized techniques such as joint mobilization, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy.
  • Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document all interactions according to clinic and regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers including physicians, occupational therapists, and case managers to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and treatment methodologies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to physical therapy assistants and students as needed.
  • Assist with clinic operations including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
Qualifications
  • Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program required.
  • Current state physical therapy license in good standing.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Experience with diverse patient populations and various medical conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and post‑surgical rehabilitation.
  • Excellent manual therapy skills and experience with evidence‑based treatment techniques.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate documentation and medical records.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • Experience with direct access evaluation and treatment preferred.
  • Board certification in a specialty area (OCS, NCS, SCS, etc.) a plus.
