Job summary

OrthoLoneStar is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work under a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting. You will deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain, while educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.

Ideal candidates have CAPTE-accredited PTA training and 1–2 years of related outpatient experience, with strong communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Outpatient orthopedic and manual therapy experience highly desirable; certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Instruct patients in home exercise programs and safety measures.
• Observe progress and report to PT for plan adjustments.
• Maintain accurate documentation per clinic policies and regulations.
• Assist in supervising Physical Therapy Technicians and students.
• Support clinic operations and community/marketing activities.
