Job summary

Langhorne Surgery Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking an OR Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role focuses on safe, high-quality nursing care throughout the surgical process in an outpatient setting.

The RN will support pre-operative, operating room and recovery areas as assigned, collaborate with an experienced team, and uphold infection control and patient safety standards while documenting care in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate’s Degree or BSN in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care in line with policies and standards.
• Perform patient assessments, obtain histories, monitor vital signs, and identify condition changes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and the healthcare team.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room with required equipment and supplies.
• Assist surgeons and team during procedures by providing instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patients during surgical procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Document nursing care and patient responses in the electronic health record.
• Operate a C-Arm/fluoroscope under surgeon guidance as assigned.
• Support a collaborative, safe, and efficient surgical environment.
