Job summary

Yale New Haven Health seeks a full-time Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to support outpatient medical oncology services, rotating between New Haven and North Haven infusion sites. The role involves weekday day shifts with occasional weekend/on-call rotations as needed to meet department requirements.

The candidate should have a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, a CT Pharmacist license, and PGY1 residency or equivalent experience is desirable. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience desirable.
• Current Connecticut Pharmacist License, or eligible for licensure in CT.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Quality: Demonstrate CHAMP behaviors.
• Medication Management: Review medication orders considering patient characteristics.
• Medication Preparation and Distribution: Use pharmacy automation and technology.
• Medication Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance: Follow policies and guidelines.
• Leadership: Educate and train pharmacy staff, students and residents.
• Financial/Volume Results: Support cost-reduction and revenue generation.
