Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Cancer Center in Davenport, IA is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver outpatient oncology care under MercyOne Health System. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team, ensuring safety and evidence-based practice.

The position involves coordinating care, patient education, and documentation in the EMR, with a schedule of full-time hours (32 per week) 8:00 am–4:30 pm, and no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa; compact license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in EMR and basic computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient settings.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, and families.
• Educate patients and families on treatments and procedures.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of assessments, vitals, medications, and education.
• Support quality improvement, risk management, and performance projects.
