Sequoia Care is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Florida to provide hands-on therapy under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist in outpatient care within senior living communities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• CPR certification (as required by facility or state regulations)

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT.
• Assist residents with regaining skills related to daily living, mobility, and fine motor function.
• Track and document resident progress and report changes to the OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure coordinated, goal-driven care.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines
