Sequoia Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide hands-on outpatient therapy in Florida senior living communities. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and contribute to meaningful, goal-directed care for residents.

This PRN/part-time role emphasizes flexible scheduling, strong documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team to support residents’ independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• CPR certification (as required by facility or state regulations).
• Strong documentation, time management, and communication skills.
• Compassionate, resident‑focused, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with regaining skills related to daily living, mobility, and fine motor function.
• Track and document resident progress and report changes to the OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure coordinated, goal‑driven care.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines.
