Job summary

Telos Health Systems, Inc. seeks a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide outpatient therapy in Deland, Florida on a PRN basis.

Under the supervision of a licensed OT, you will deliver hands-on therapy to residents in senior living communities, following individualized treatment plans and documenting progress. The role offers competitive hourly pay of $32-$40, a $250 monthly travel stipend for part-time and full-time positions, and benefits such as medical, dental and vision

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current Florida OTA license is required.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• CPR certification may be required by facility/state regulations.
• Strong documentation, time management and communication skills.
• Compassionate, resident-focused and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT.
• Assist residents with regaining daily living, mobility and fine motor skills.
• Track and document resident progress and report changes to the OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure coordinated, goal-driven care.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines.
