Job summary

Advocate Health's Navicent outpatient rehabilitation unit is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and therapists to maximize independence and functional outcomes for a diverse patient population.

The OT will educate patients and families, develop individualized plans, and supervise OT students and staff. Current state OT licensure and CPR/BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree from accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current state licensure and CPR/BLS Level C.
• Ability to adhere to hospital policies and deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT care to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Supervise OT students and support staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ICD-10 coding.
