Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Navicent Health Medical Center - Inpatient Rehabilitation to assess and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with the rehabilitation team.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with days and two weekend days per month; requires B.S. or M.S. in OT, Georgia licensure, BLS CPR, and hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Georgia.
• CPR/BLS Level C certification.
• Education/Experience: B.S. or M.S. in OT; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment according to standard of practice.
• Documents patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries timely.
• Maintains accurate patient records and ICD-10 coding as appropriate.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and care staff to plan next level of care.
• Promotes quality patient outcomes and participates in process improvements.
