BayCare Health System's Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL, seeks a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This role emphasizes hand and upper-extremity conditions and neurological disorders, supporting recovery and improving functional independence.

Responsibilities include evaluations, personalized treatment plans, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and care

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• OT license or eligibility to obtain required.
• Preferred 1 year of OT experience.

Responsabilités

• Conduct detailed evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.
• Provide specialized interventions including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and custom splinting.
• Treat patients with conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon injuries, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies to support long-term recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other care team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with BayCare and regulatory standards.

Mease Countryside Hospital, part of BayCare Health System, is seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This role specializes in treating patients with hand and upper extremity conditions as well as neurological disorders, supporting recovery and improving functional independence.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

Requirements

• OT (Occupational Therapy)
• Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain
• Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy
