Job summary

UHA University Health Associates in Elkins, West Virginia, is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to deliver high-quality OB/Gyn care in an ambulatory setting. The APP will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage OB/Gyn patients in collaboration with faculty and other healthcare professionals.

The role includes comprehensive evaluations, care planning, patient education, and discharge coordination, with opportunities to participate in teaching residents and students as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from a CCNE-accredited program.
• National APRN certification is required.
• WV APRN licensure or eligibility.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred as per department.
• Experience level: new graduates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/Gyn ambulatory patient care within scope of practice.
• Perform pre-procedure evaluations and integrated assessments.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the clinical team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up as applicable.
• Order tests or consults per guidelines and document findings.

Education

Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from CCNE-accredited program

National APRN Certification

Licensed/Eligible as APRN in West Virginia
