Job summary

Optum Colorado is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Evergreen clinic team in the Denver area. You will manage patient care in an outpatient setting, coordinating with specialists and supporting staff in a collaborative environment.

This role requires an active Colorado APRN/PA license (or ability to obtain) with prescribing authority; DEA license or ability to obtain is preferred. A strong emphasis on documentation, teamwork, and quality care is essential.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted APRN or PA license in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in outpatient setting.
• See patients of all ages, primarily adults/seniors.
• Document thoroughly and timely.
• Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies and procedures.
• Order labs and imaging tests and provide follow up guidance.
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services.
• Maintain quality of care standards.
