Job summary

Berger Health System in Riverside, OH seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for outpatient neurosurgery. The role provides general nursing care across the continuum in our Riverside clinic setting and supports the nursing process under Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.

You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care. Day shift with 40 hours per week, requiring BLS certification and an Ohio RN license.

Qualifications

• Assessment and ongoing health status assessment of patients.
• Documentation of planned interventions to meet patient needs.
• Evaluation of responses to care and revision of plans.
• Active participation in process improvement for quality and satisfaction.
• Support safety, quality and efficiency in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate response to interventions and adjust plan as needed.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement for clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Operations: uphold safety, quality and efficiency as an HRO.
