Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgery Main department. The role provides general nursing care to patients across the continuum in a hospital setting, with a 30-minute call time requirement and 40 hours weekly day shift.

Candidates must have at least 1 year OR RN experience; Ohio Board of Nursing licensure; BLS; BSN preferred after 5 years; position requires leadership, safety, and teamwork within a high reliability organization.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in nursing is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Ohio RN license in good standing (or multi-state compact).
• 2+ years of OR nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient health status.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Monitor and document patient care and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure safety and quality in line with HRO principles.
• Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives.
