Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Neurology team in the Charlotte region. The APP will deliver general outpatient neurology care, supported by a team of neurologists and APPs, and participate in education of learners across the department.

We offer a 4- or 5-day work week, with 12-16 patient encounters daily including consults, follow-ups and procedures (e.g., Botox for migraine).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of APP experience with Neurology strongly preferred.
• Ability to see patients autonomously with support of onsite APPs.
• Strong clinical knowledge base with academic interest.
• Passion for innovation, education and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the education of learners (APPs, students, nurses and fellows).
• Support transition of care initiatives with leaders and stroke program coordinator.
• Provide patient-centered care in outpatient neurology settings.
• No call and no weekends; participate in an APP-led clinic.
• Collaborate with neurology MDs and APPs to deliver high-quality care.
