SteveRecruiter, LLC seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Outpatient Neurologist for a full-time position in Mattoon, Illinois. This role centers on an outpatient clinic within a hospital setting, with an established support team and no mandatory hospital call burden.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program.
• BC/BE in Neurology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility).
• Valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
• Partner and collaborate with an established clinic team currently comprised of two physicians and one APP.
• Manage a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call responsibilities, restricted primarily to reviewing critical patient lab values as needed.
• Customize your practice scope based on clinical preferences, with options to read EEGs and/or conduct EMG reads if desired.
• Take advantage of optional inpatient coverage opportunities if you have a clinical interest in maintaining acute care exposure.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all clinical encounters and consultations.
