Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide safe and competent PT services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The role requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program with Florida licensure (temporary permits may be accepted). Experience level is not specified. A sign-on bonus may be offered under certain conditions, and the position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Master’s degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program conferred before 2019 may be accepted alongside a pre-2000 bachelor’s in physical therapy.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist license; temporary permit may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and competent physical therapy as ordered by a physician.
• Plan, organize and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Supervise work of support personnel.
• Reports to: Director/Rehabilitation.
• Supervises: Physical Therapy Assistant.
