Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join the Outpatient Neuro team on a PRN Days schedule. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement and monitor rehabilitative programs to restore independence in daily activities, mobility, cognition, and strength. Licensing and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a Bachelor's in OT.
• Current OT license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement OT treatment plans for outpatient neuro patients.
• Assess patients and establish plans of care with goals and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations and treatments per department guidelines.
• Provide patient education, caregiver training, and follow-up referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation team to optimize care.
