Job summary

University Medical Associates (UMA) is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols. The role reports to the site supervisor and radiology manager and requires strong teamwork and patient safety focus.

Candidates must be ARRT MRI registry eligible and obtain registration within 1 year of hire, with BLS certification ongoing. You will rotate to different locations as needed to support staffing and training.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of imaging.
• ARRT MRI registry eligibility; must obtain MRI registration within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or ARC CPR/AED).
• Proactive maintenance/renewal of ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI examinations per protocol with high image quality.
• Completes patient screening, exam documentation, and image verification in RIS/PACS.
• Maintains image quality, safety, productivity, and workflow.
• Supports onboarding and training of staff and students; participates in meetings.
• Engages in quality improvement initiatives and safety programs.
