Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Kissimmee, FL seeks an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic MRI images with precision and safety. The role requires mastery of MRI physics, protocol selection, contrast administration, and patient interaction in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will ensure strict safety, document results, and mentor staff. The position supports teamwork across brain, spine, cardiac, and MSK imaging with advanced technology and standardized clinical practices.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR (or ARMRIT) certification required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• CPR/BLS certified and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and screen patients thoroughly.
• Proficient in PACS and imaging software; document results clearly.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine quality control checks.
• Provide patient-centered care with clear explanations and compassionate communication.
