Job summary

Premier Radiology, a RP practice in the Nashville area, seeks an MRI Technologist to maintain MRI protocols and perform QC in a safety‑driven environment. You will ensure proper screening and execute IV injections per OSHA guidelines, while applying precise patient positioning and protocol selection.

The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT certification, BLS, and strong teamwork with radiologists and technologists across the outpatient imaging network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of recognized AMA Council on Education program in radiological technology.
• Certification by ARRT or ARMRIT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency.
• Able to work effectively with clinical staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MRI protocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead.
• Perform daily quality control on MRI scanners per ACR and state requirements.
• Maintain a safe MR environment with proper screening.
• Perform IV injections following OSHA guidelines.
• Demonstrate competency across MRI examinations and equipment, including patient positioning and protocol selection.
