Job summary

Premier Radiology in Nashville, TN, is seeking an MRI Technologist to maintain imaging quality and safety across our outpatient centers. You will support high-quality patient care with precise protocol adherence and ongoing professional development within a Radiology Partners practice.

The role emphasizes strong patient interaction, safety screening, and proficiency in MR imaging. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with supportive leadership and career growth within a national radiology

Qualifications

• Graduate of recognized AMA/ARRT-approved radiologic technology program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to perform intravenous injections and maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain protocols as directed by MRI Coordinator/Lead.
• Perform daily QC and checks on MRI scanners per ACR/state requirements.
• Maintain a safe MRI environment with proper screening of entrants.
• Demonstrate competency in MRI examinations and proper patient positioning.
• Perform IV injections when contrast is needed following OSHA guidelines.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Responsible formaintainingprotocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead(s).
• Performs andmaintainsdaily check-ups and quality control on MRI scanners required by American College of Radiology (ACR), and the stateDepartment of State Health Services and any other credentialing organizations as required bylaw.
• Responsible formaintaininga safe MR environment including proper screening of all persons entering the MRI suite following best practice standards.
• Performs IV insertion when contrast is needed following proper guidelines asestablishedby Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
• Demonstrates competency andproficiency, following protocols, in the performance of:All MRI examinations and equipment in their assigned work area, proper positioning of the patient, selectionof theappropriate protocolwhilemaintainingacceptable technical adjustments, proper post processing of MRI examinations and proper identification of cross-sectional anatomy.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate ofrecognized,approved AMAcouncilof Education program in radiological technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
• Requires currentBLS.
• Mustdemonstrateabilityto perform intravenous injections withproficiency.
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and toestablisheffective working relationships
