Job summary

Premier Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice in the Nashville area, is seeking an MRI Technologist to maintain MRI protocols, ensure safety, and perform quality control on scanners. The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT certification, current BLS, and IV injection proficiency.

You will work within a team‑oriented, patient‑centered environment that emphasizes excellence, safety, and professional growth at Premier Radiology in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized, approved AMA council of Education program in radiological technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
• Requires current BLS.
• Must demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency.
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and to establish effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain protocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Leads.
• Perform daily check-ups and quality control on MRI scanners as required by ACR and state authorities.
• Maintain a safe MR environment including proper screening of all persons entering the MRI suite.
• Perform IV insertion when contrast is needed following proper guidelines.
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of all MRI examinations and equipment in the assigned area.
