Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient lymphedema therapy. This full-time day shift role requires evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a Virginia physical therapy license, BLS certification, and experience or interest in lymphedema therapy. Sign-on bonus eligibility is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved school of Physical Therapy; VA license required.
• Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• AHA BLS-certified within six months of employment.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, customer service and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care based on physician referral and age-appropriate assessment.
• Coordinates patient care and clinical activities with the health care team.
• Documents in the medical record and completes related forms.
• Supervises PTAs and collaborates with staff and students.
• Participates in in-services, performance improvement, and committee work.
