Job summary

Inova Health System's Obesity Medicine division seeks an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team in Fairfax, VA. This is a full-time day position with Monday through Friday hours.

Shifts available from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, maintain accurate records, participate in care planning, and contribute to quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Virginia LPN license required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• 0 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
