Job summary

Inova Health System in the Virginia area is seeking an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the Obesity Medicine team. This full-time day position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with either 8:00–4:30 or 7:00–3:30 shifts, and requires delivering direct patient care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, supporting unit teams, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience: 0 years of experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Inova Health – Obesity Medicine is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time day position, Monday – Friday, either 8-4:30pm or 7-3:30pm.
