Inova Primary Care is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Northern Virginia. This full-time day position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience: 0 years of experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
