Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an outpatient clinic in Glen Burnie, MD. This 40+ hour/week on-site position offers growth, a supportive environment, and a contract-to-hire path based on attendance and performance.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, clinical testing, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience required.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Preferred: experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, etc.
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries in EMR.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or interactions.
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Provide patient education related to self-care and disease management.
• Help connect patients with healthcare resources; communicate with care teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment.
