Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an Outpatient Clinic in Dunkirk, MD. This contract role offers 32-40 hours per week with 6-week schedules following a 3-week orientation, typically 7-10 hour shifts, 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend.

Some holidays and travel to nearby clinics may be required. Responsibilities include administering medications, patient assessments, EMR documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration and point-of-care testing.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Epic.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document clinical findings.
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries, and other relevant information in the EMR.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions.
• Provide patient education related to self-care and disease management.
• Help connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources.
