Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition, take vitals and weight.
• Assist provider with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments including phlebotomy, injections, suturing.
• Administer medications per provider order and policy with proper documentation.
• Orient, instruct, and train assigned personnel as applicable.
• Provide basic patient care as ordered.
• Relay test results to patients in a timely manner.
• Use AIDET in communication to ensure patient comfort and privacy.
• Document all interventions and medication information in the medical record.
• Promote wellness with patient education and provider instructions.
• Triages patient calls and schedules appointments.
• Maintain stock of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of records and confidentiality.
