Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for outpatient and ambulatory care settings. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver direct nursing care, communicate with the care team, and support patient education and coordination of services.

Required is a current Connecticut LPN license with experience in outpatient care; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut LPN license.
• Outpatient/ambulatory or physician practice experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist in coordinating patient care and communicating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain labs, charting, and administrative tasks as part of the Nursing unit.
