Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking a 1.0 FTE Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver direct patient care in a clinic setting. Starting pay ranges from $23.85 to $35.78 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current Minnesota LPN license required.
• BLS certification.
• Previous clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts focused health assessments and compares data to normal findings and the patient’s status.
• Reports changes in health status and responses to interventions to a nurse or provider.
• Participates with other providers in developing and modifying plans of care.
• Implements interventions within a nursing plan of care as delegated.
• Assigns nursing activities to other licensed practical nurses as needed.
• Monitors tasks assigned to unlicensed assistive personnel and ensures safe care.
