Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA seeks an Outpatient Licensed Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psycho-education to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Kaweah Health credentialing within 60 days of hire/transfer.
• Two or more years of experience providing child, adolescent and/or adult counseling.
• Proficient in various treatment modalities including individual, group, and/or family systems.
• Proficient in treating patients across developmental stages.
• Provides appropriate and timely documentation of clinical encounters in patients’ medical record.
• Good writing and verbal skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of community resources and cultural competence.
• Prior to providing therapy, health plan credentialing must be completed through Kaweah Health Managed Care.
• Bilingual Preferred

• Abides by all laws, rules, ethics, and codes applicable to the services provided.
• Provides supervision to ASW/AMFT, as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care and services appropriate to the population served.

The Outpatient Licensed Therapist is part of the interdisciplinary team who provides direct assessment, diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, clinical interventions, and psycho-education to patients. The Outpatient Licensed Therapist practices independently and is familiar with and has expertise in a variety of treatment modalities. Works with patients across the spectrum of development including geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and children while demonstrating cross cultural competence. Majority of the position is spent in direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer
• Experience Required: Two or more years of experience providing child, adolescent and/or adult counseling.
• Proficient in various treatment modalities including individual, group, and/or family systems.
• Proficient in treating patients across developmental stages.
• Ability to identify and implement treatment modalities that will best serve the patient’s needs.
• Provides appropriate and timely documentation of clinical encounters in patients’ medical record.
• Good writing and verbal skills.
• Demonstrates knowledgeable of community resources.
• Demonstrates cultural competence and commitment to patients.
• Prior to providing therapy, health plan credentialing must be completed through Kaweah Health Managed Care.

Pay Range

Pay Range $42.10 -$63.16
