Inova Cardiology in Ashburn, VA is seeking an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the RN, and help maintain accurate patient records.

Minimum qualifications include a Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing, Virginia LPN licensure, and BLS certification. Preferred: 1 year of LPN or Medical Assistant experience.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Vocational / TechnicalDiploma in Practical Nursing
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Experience: 0 years of experience
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
