Inova Health - Cardiology is seeking an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day position in Alexandria, VA. Working Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, you will provide direct patient care under RN supervision and contribute to a collaborative cardiology team.

The role supports patient records management, adherence to documentation standards, and participation in quality initiatives within a leading nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in Virginia.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: 0 years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities
