Job summary

Hudson Regional Health System oversees outpatient diagnostic and clinical laboratory operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, service quality, and efficiency across outpatient services. This role requires 7+ years in lab management, outpatient and reference lab experience, and current licensure with national certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or Medical Technology is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outpatient laboratory operations and staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, OSHA, FDA, and state regs.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and budget controls for cost-effective performance.
• Collaborate with executives and clinical departments to support patient care.
• Lead quality improvement and performance optimization efforts.
• Oversee procurement of equipment and supply chains for outpatient labs.
• Coordinate IT and LIS to standardize data and reporting.
• Track KPIs, turnaround times, and quality metrics for system leadership.
• Serve as administrative and operational leader for outpatient lab services.
