Qualifications

• Valid NYSED license as a clinical laboratory technologist, cytotechnologist, or histotechnologist.
• Experience supervising laboratory or blood bank operations and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and monitors all testing in the Core Laboratory.
• Ensures quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Maintains QC and preventive maintenance of clinical instruments.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and annual evaluations.
• Participates in budgeting and ensures patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
