Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join a well-established, physician-led group with multiple Long Island locations. The role is 100% outpatient with flexible hours, Monday-Friday and no on-call requirements.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care, perform exams, order and interpret tests, and develop individualized treatment plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance and collaborating with care teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed in New York State or eligible for licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to grow and manage patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.
