Ascension invites an experienced outpatient Internal Medicine physician to join a busy, physician-led practice at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Primary Care. The role emphasizes patient-centered care with a strong referral base within a large health system network.

The candidate must hold an MD or DO and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, with Indiana licensure before hire. New graduates welcomed with mentorship support.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and Indiana medical license prior to hire.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Lead an outpatient panel of 18–21 patients daily using evidence-based clinical decisions.
• Collaborate within a team of 2 Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary care.
• Mentor and precept medical students from Indiana University School of Medicine, USI, and University of Evansville.
• Practice in a 100% outpatient setting with AthenaHealth EMR.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
