Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Outpatient Infusion department. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments, safe medication administration, and collaborative care planning with physicians and the care team.

Ideal candidates hold an active New Jersey RN license, BLS certification, and preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with EMR experience (EPIC) to support accurate documentation and smooth patient

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred and EMR experience (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer safe medications and provide hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely decisions.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding of care.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation to support continuity.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and care transitions.
• Engage in a collaborative team environment and pursuit of professional growth.
