Job summary

Mercy Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Infusion at the Paducah Cancer Center. You will assess patients, implement chemotherapy protocols, start IVs, and monitor treatment responses to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires an RN license, BLS; ACLS acceptable. Oncology chemotherapy certification within 6 months is expected, with 1 year of medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred. Mercy Health offers strong benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS (preferred on hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS).
• ONS Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy Certification (required within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications; start IVs and transfuse血 products.
• Create safe, therapeutic environment and educate nursing peers.
• Respond to changing patient conditions and adjust treatments as needed.
• Support educational growth opportunities for nursing staff.
