Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) for the Paducah Cancer Center to deliver high-quality care in a patient-focused setting.

The RN will assess patients, implement interventions, administer chemotherapy, and develop care plans, while promoting education and safety for patients across the lifespan. A current Kentucky RN license and BLS are required, with oncology certification supported after hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current registered nurse license in the state of Kentucky.
• Oncology/infusion nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS if BLS not available; Chemotherapy certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Implement clinical nursing interventions and therapies.
• Administer chemotherapy and related IV treatments.
• Maintain safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Collaborate with the infusion team to ensure optimal outcomes.
