Job summary

UVA Health is seeking a Manager for Radiology Support Services & Outpatient Imaging to lead daily operations, drive outpatient imaging growth, and maintain high clinical quality. You will manage clinical teams, budgets, and capital planning while partnering with radiology and academic health system stakeholders.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of progressively responsible experience; a master’s degree is preferred and licensure in at least one imaging modality is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of progressively responsible experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• License or certification in at least one clinical imaging modality (e.g., X-ray, sonography, MRI, CT, Nuc Med) required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership to multiple clinical teams and their supervisors.
• Lead growth and optimization of outpatient imaging services focusing on access, throughput, service delivery, and capacity.
• Collaborate with directors, physicians, supervisors, and partners outside radiology to align priorities.
• Conduct monthly budget reviews and monitor financial performance to support informed decision-making.
• Manage operations within budgets and optimize staffing, supplies, technology and resources.
• Oversee imaging equipment, capital inventory, lifecycle management and replacement needs.
