Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a Hospital Assistant II to support outpatient imaging centers. You will assist technologists with patient prep, MRI safety screening, room setup, education and patient transfer, and help manage workflow using RIS/HIS and PACS.

Maintain a clean, safe, well-stocked environment and contribute to timely transport of patients. The role requires strong communication, the ability to follow instructions, and the capacity to perform under pressure

Qualifications

• BLS from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to work within a team in a demanding environment.
• Independent decision making while performing job functions.
• Prioritize work and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists in outpatient imaging centers and patient prep.
• Support MRI safety screening, room prep, and patient education.
• Move patients on/off tables and manage workflow using RIS/HIS.
