NovaCare Rehabilitation in Clarksville, Maryland is seeking a full-time Certified Hand Therapist (or Occupational Therapist) to treat upper extremity disorders with strong splinting skills. The role offers a 32-40 hour workweek with some evenings and no weekends, plus a compensation range of $90,000–$110,000 and incentives including a bonus up to $20,000 and student loan repayment help.

2–3 years of hand therapy experience is required, and CHT credentials are not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hand therapy experience
• Graduate of OT/PT program with licensure
• CPR certification
• Hold state OT licensure and national registration
• Comfortable working as a solo hand therapist

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
• Previous, demonstrated marketing experience
• Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• National registration and state licensure or registration required
• Valid state driver’s license

Position: Certified Hand Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Location: NovaCare in Clarksville, Maryland

Schedule: Full-time, 32- 40 hours

Compensation: $90,000 - $110, 000

NovaCare River Hill (MD) is seeking a full-time Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or Occupational Therapist to treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. We are seeking a skilled hand therapist experienced in custom splinting. The Hand Therapist will collaborate with our regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have the resources you need for success. CHT credentials are not required for consideration. You must have at least 2-3 years of prior hand therapy experience and be comfortable working as a solo hand therapist within our Clarksville, Maryland, outpatient center.

Your full-time schedule will include some evenings, and we can be flexible with this salaried 32-40-hour workweek. No weekends!
