Job summary

Health Med MD in Ocala, FL is seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join its outpatient team focused on the Medicare Advantage population. This value-based care medical group emphasizes quality, continuity of care, and a team-based approach with a strong work-life balance.

The position is 100% outpatient with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, no weekends or holidays, and an average patient load of 12–16 per day, supported by dedicated care teams to deliver comprehensive,

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Interest in caring for adult and senior population.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to value-based healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient primary care and continuity of care.
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments.
  • Develop and communicate individualized care plans.
  • Diagnose and manage chronic conditions in older adults.
  • Lead within a collaborative, team-based model.
  • Coordinate care to minimize unnecessary testing and fragmented services.
  • Maintain compliance with Florida scope-of-practice regulations.
