Job summary

Essenti Talent is partnering with a Northwest Indiana healthcare system to recruit a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist for a busy outpatient practice just outside Chicago. The role offers a mix of clinical subspecialty care, advanced EPIC EHR functionality with AI improvements, and strong work-life balance in a HIMSS Stage VII environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
• Fellowship-trained in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management for adult endocrine disorders.
• Perform thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspirations (FNA) as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary network of primary care providers, surgeons, bariatric specialists, and diabetes educators.
• Utilize EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and health system quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster strong, long-term provider-patient relationships through individualized care planning.
