Job summary

Northwest Indiana Health System seeks a Board Certified/Eligible Endocrinologist to join a physician-led group in the Greater Chicagoland area. Enjoy a busy clinical subspecialty practice with modern EPIC EHR, AI-assisted documentation, and strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
Fellowship-trained in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days).

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management for adult endocrine disorders.
Perform thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspirations (FNA) as clinically indicated.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary network of primary care providers, surgeons, bariatric specialists, and diabetes educators.
Utilize EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and health system quality improvement initiatives.
Foster strong provider-patient relationships through individualized care planning.
